Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Time again for another Sketch Challenge. Hope you’ll play along with this fun and easy sketch. If you would like to just click here to be directed to Stamping 411.

Today’s Sketch:ssc162 (2)

…and my interpretation…..

Swap and Sketch Cards 011

I used the Eastern Blooms Stamp set and colored the images with my markers and edged the images with contrasting ink.

I sued More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze! Wow what a striking combo together.  Kind of Indian looking don’t you think? I used the same color cardstocks along with whisper white. The colored strips are just 1/2” x 4 1/4 “ and the Cajun Craze is only 1/8” x 41/4 “

the Sentiment was stamped on the card and then I decided I wanted to pop it up and dot around it. That measure 1 2/38 and I’ve stamped a sentiment from It’s Your Birthday.

I hope you like my simple card and I hope you will try playing along with us this week.

Thanks and have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Stampin’ Up! “Gifts of Christmas”

Hi Everyone,

I’m a little late posting today. Sorry about that. I just have had a busy few days catching up after convention. I’m sure if you were there you know what I mean.

I’d like to share my first Christmas Card of the Year. I will be doing this at a Christmas workshop at Sherrie’s house on Tuesday .

christmas cards and susan's cards 005

This is a simple and Elegant card featuring the Gifts of Christmas Set. I used my square Scalloped Die for the focal point cutting it down tot he size I wanted by placing it in the die again and cutting where I wanted it. I embossed the image with Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder attached it to a Cherry Cobbler Mat and attached with Dimensionals to my Petal's a Plenty mat. Matted that again on Cherry Cobbler and again onto the embossed card front. Oopps Almost forgot the ribbon….I used my handy dandy Ribbon Maker

to create my perfect little bow. Don’t forget to check it out on my sidebar (just click on the picture)….if you’d like you can purchase one there too. If you would like more than one…make sure to contact me and I will combine shipping to save you money!

I am going to be sharing more Christmas Cards in the weeks to come as I will be gearing up for my Christmas Camps in the next few months. My Girls like to start early.

I Thank You for stopping by and appreciate all the comments. Keep em’ coming. It’s so fun to read what y’all have to say.

See you tomorrow with my Stamping 411 Post.

Have a Stampinglee Good day!
