Good Morning Everyone,
I am doing this card at a Friends Stampin' UP1 Workshop tonight. It's her husbands Birthday on Saturday and she needed a masculine card.
I used Basic Black as the base and ran it through my Big Shot with a Texturz Plate (COOL). I also used the same texturz plate on the Sage Shadow mat.
The inks were Basic Black and Creamy Caramel for the birds and Sage Shadow for the moon and flowers. I hope they like it.
thanks for stopping by and have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Good Morning Everyone!
Here is a cute little purse I designed yesterday morning to give to my Hostess at her workshop. I had to make something really cute to house some Soho Hardware.
The finished bag measures 3 1/4" x 5 1/2". It was easy to make and very fun to do. I wanted something bright and cheerful to give her.
I have to say I gave her a choice of this bag and another that I did in Faux Alligator and she selected that one. That's fine....I'll save this one for another "Special" Hostess.
I used Pixie Pink Textured Card Stock for this along with the Eyelet Border Punch to do the white. The Daisies were done in white with a bit of Kiwi Kiss in the center that I popped up with a Build -a-Brad.
I also used the Butterfly Die and added a few pearls from the Pretties Kit and Voila!

Hey!! I just thought of something.....I am approaching 50,000 hits on my blog, thanks to all of you. Leave me a comment and one of you will win this when I hit 50,000. I'll post here so make sure to check back to see if you're the winner. Whoo Hoo!!! Blog Candy!!!

Now, I've got to get serious for a minute. Don't forget that there are only 4 days left to do the "Three-Payment Plan" with Stampin' Up!
If you have ever thought of this for a Business or a Hobby, now is the time. Where else can you start a business for so little and be able to make three payments? You don't have to be local to me...but I do have to get the paperwork to you and you'll have to get it to the Post Office and send it Priority!!! So let me know here if you'd like me to mail you the information on being a Demonstrator.
Here is everything you will get in the kit. Fabulous isn't it?
Thanks of stopping by and Have a......

Super Simple Get Well

Good Morning Everyone!
I literally had to make this card in a matter of minutes. You know how sometime less is more? I'm hoping this falls into that category.
I'm always drawn to simple cards in card stores (No, I don't buy them, but I do look) and appreciate what they have to say with a simple image.
So I give you my simple image card. Actually, I think I may have seen something like this in a card magazine or book. So I hope you like it.
I stamped the image twice, once on the card and once on a little scrap of DSP.
The Umbrella is from "A Little Birdie Told Me" and the saying is from "Garden Greetings". I used our Texturz Polka Dot Plate and our Scallop Edge Punch.
I did put a little button in the center of the ribbon which is from one of our Button Assortments.
See, cards don't have to be difficult to be cute!!

Sun Shine Kind of Day!

Good Morning Everyone,
To say it was a Sunshine kind of day is an understatement. It is gorgeous out here in Sun Shine filled Jacksonville, Florida.
the Birds are singing, the sun is shining and it's just gorgeous out there. I love this time of year.

So I decided to do a crisp and clean Summery kind of card that I will probably use in my "Start to Finish" Class in a few weeks. This is a class where I don't cut for my customers. they do it from Start to Finish. It's kind of cool, especially for those of us that haven't had to use a ruler or measurements in a very long time!!!
I hope you enjoy the card and know that I'm sending Sunshine your way if it's gloomy at your house.
I used the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set for the image and stamped in Pumpkin Pie and added some color to areas with Tangerine Tango. I removed color from the stems with a blended pen and then recolored the stems with a Artichoke Marker. Huffed on it a bit and stamped it. The stripes in the background are actually grosgrain ribbon. I love the way it pulls it all together and is so easy.
Thanks for stopping by and as usual......

Rockabilly Purse

Good Morning Everyone!
I wanted to share a cute little purse that would be adorable for bridal, shower, birthday's or any occasion. I just can't believe how fast and easy this was to make.
All you have to do is cut two Scallop Envelopes using our Scallop Envelope Die $ 113462 $21.95.
You will need to cut the bottom piece of each envelope to about 1/2 inch so that it fits together. It should be the same size as the sides in width. I then used a scrap for the handle. What do you think of the Rockabilly Designer Series Paper? I love it!!! The textures on it are to die for.
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs don't hesitate to ask. If you would like to order online, it's very easy...just visit my website at : www.stampingleeyours.stampinup.net and click on Shop Now. Have fun and thanks for stopping by.

Gilded Stria Silhouette Card

Good Morning Everyone!
I had to try this Gilded Stria Technique. It's rather dark and so not me but, there is something I like about it. Maybe it's the richness of it.
I couldn't seem to photograph it well as the camera was catching the gold...
Anyway it is a fun technique and one I'll be doing at one of my Technique Classes. Hope to see you soon.

Soft Flower...3D Card

Good Morning Everyone!
I finally got around to making one of those fabulous flowers from our catalog. What fun!!!!
I used the Tea Party Designer Series Paper to make it.
I love how soft and full it is. Not a card we would mail...but think how cute one of these flowers would be with a matching gift bag. I may have to work on that.
I also used our new scallop oval punch and the Oval All Stamp Set.
I hope you enjoy it.

Soft Summer Save

Good Morning Everyone!
I'm a bit late in posting this morning but here I am.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Here in Sunny Florida the sun is shining and it's promising to be a fabulous day! yesterday on the other hand was horrible, trees down, power failures, computer problems...you name it we had it.
My share today is one I did at Leadership this past January. I actually messed up the card and had to move the image down a bit...so to make a recovery I added the brown scallop edge at the top to better balance the card.
this is done on Confetti Cream Card stock. the image is stamped in Stazon and stamped on Watercolor Paper. I colored it in with an aqua painter and lifted the color from coordinating markers. Fun way to color.
I hope you enjoy my little card share or should I say "Save" today. If you are interested in purchasing this set or any of the accessories please feel free to contact me or order online at: www.stampingleeyours.stampinup.net

Thanks for stopping by and as always.......

Good Morning Everyone!
I wanted to share yet another card I made with the Seaside set #113512 at $25.95.
I decided to make this one a bit more masculine. I used: Chocolate Chip, Close To Cocoa, Brocade Blue and Confetti White Card Stock. I don't know if you can see it on the picture or not but I used some of our new Texturz Plates on the Close to Cocoa and the Chocolate Chip layer...it's the diamond design. i just wanted it to have a bit of texture. The front round shell is mounted on a Dimensional and the rest is masked and colored in with an Aqua Painter and our wonderful Watercolor Wonder Crayons!
I hope you enjoy the card....please feel free to comment, I'd love to hear from you.
Don't forget out Special in April. Purchase $40 from the Occasions Mini and select one item off page #208 for FREE. Want to spend $80 that's fine too....pick two and so forth.

Tart and Tangy...Cool and Refreshing

Good Morning Everyone,
I don't think I've used this set since last summer. I really love it. Couldn't you just tak a bite out of that strawberry? Yum!
The Dotted Paper on the bottom of the card is done with "Rockabilly Designer Series paper" #114039 and is $11.95. I love the papers in this series...just gorgeous!
The red is not a true red but more of a Riding Hood Red or a Ruby Red. I used a Ruby Red and Old Olive Markers to do the Strawberry with. I tied it all in with some Old Olive Card Stock and some Old Olive 5/6" Grosgrain Ribbon.
The "Absolutely Fabulous" set was used for the saying on the card it's #111514 and is only $12.95. Can't go wrong there.

Happy Easter! & Soft Summer

Good Morning Everyone,

I wanted to share a card I did a few weeks back. I actually did it for a "Rising Star" Swap I was in.

I was a Rising Star in 2006. Stampin' Up! has 15 Rising Stars a year. To qualify you have to place in sales, recruiting and recruit promotions. I guess I did all three. When I received the letter I didn't even know what it was....I was just having fun!!! Can you imagine getting rewarded for just having FUN plus get a $$$ Bonus?!? I got to meet the top 50 Demonstrators in the company along with the other 14 Rising Stars. I received a fully expense paid trip to Utah to meet with Shelli Gardner and do lots of fun things. Boy was it fun! You can only be a Rising Star once and I'm sure glad I made it.

So now there is a group of us that like to swap ideas and keep up with each other. That's what this card was all about. I hope they like it. I used the new "Soft Summer" set out of the new Occasions Mini #113802 $23.95. It's really quite lovely and easy to work with. If you would like to purchase this set from the mini you can go online to my Stampin' Up! store here and shop 24/7. There are no shopping hours at Stampin' Up! shop when you want. Don't forget the special this month either. If you purchase $40 from the mini you will receive anything you want FREE off of page 208 in our big catalog. How awesome is that?

Now, if you'd like to start your own business for a very low amount down...you've come to the right place. Our Starter Kit is $199 (almost $400 value) and for a short time you can get it in three easy payments. Let me clarify that you will get your kit right away....the payments can be made in your first three months. If you are interested in becoming a Demonstrator in 10-15 minutes email me and I'll send you my personal code and you can do it on my website here. If you would like to take advantage of the Three (3) Payment Plan (only good through the end of April) email me here so I can send the signed paperwork to you and you can get it off to Stampin' Up!. It's that easy!!! I'd love to have you on my team.....Who knows you may be the next "Rising Star"!!!

Thank You to all of you who visit often...I wish each and everyone of you a wonderfully Blessed Easter!

As Always....

Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Training Cards

Good Morning Everyone,

I had a one on one session and Downline training today with my new friend and Downline Beverly. So I just thought I would share a few cards we made . This is only the 2nd time Beverly has stamped.....so I wanted to make them pretty but simple and help her utilize what she received in her Starter Kit. She had selected the "Lovely as a Tree" Set #115026 $27.95 and Heartfelt Thanks #114980 $32.95. We used Everything she had gotten in her kit except for a piece of Black Card stock I gave her. I think she did pretty good for a "Newbie". We left the sentiment off the Mellow Moss card as we just couldn't decide. These will go in my much needed stash of cards to be sent and I can just stamp what I need on them when I need them.

Anyway Beverly and I and another Stamping Friend "Amy" had a great time.

If you're thinking about signing up to be a Demonstrator you too can customize your kit...let me help you with your choices. Don't forget that you have the option of signing up online and also sending in paperwork if you would like to take advantage of the Three-Payment Plan Stampin' Up is offering through the end of April. Don't wwait too long they may not offer the payment plan again. They have amde it so very easy to become a Demonstrator and share what you love. How fun to be able to do this and have fun too!!!

let me know if you're interested and I'll give you my passcode. Email me here

Clean and Crisp "Scene in a Garden"

Good Morning Everyone!
When I saw this set from Stampin' Up! I just had to have it. It's: Scene in a Garden # 113246 and is only $21.95. Check out all you get with it. It's fabulous!! It was the vase and the Rubber Boots that got me. Onto the vases....it was the first thing to catch my eye and I knew immediately what I would do with it. "Clean and Crisp", easy and fast, yet (I think) makes a lovely note card or greeting card for anyone. I wanted to tie in some of the new in-colors, so I used my aqua painter and re-inkers to color in the vases. I then took my Versamarker and colored over them and applied clear Embossing Powder and heat set. I did lightly tap on a bit of color to the flowers.
If you would like to do a little online shopping and take advantage of our "Get Connected" Promotion go to http://www.stampingleeyours.stampinup.net/
This set is from the Mini and when you purchase $40 (from the Occasions Mini) you will receive any item on Page #208 of our Catalog FREE!

I felt this card was "Hodgepodge Worthy" don't you?

I used Wonderful Favorites for the wording and will use it on the inside as well.
