Good Morning Everyone!

I needed to make some past due "Thank You" cards for some of my friends. I was looking for something simple and elegant and I think might work.

I used the Beautiful Borders Stamp Set #111594 $25.95 and stamped it on white with Sage Shadow. I love the soft feel of those colors together. I also used our new "Elegant Thank You" Stamp #114484 $6.95. this stamp is one of the new stamps by Stampin' Up! never before have they sold stamps individually before. I love the idea as you can achieve a lot with so little.

A Little Birdie Told Me...Top Note

Good Morning Everyone,
I'm going to be doing a Workshop for Amanda and she wanted one of these Top Note purses made with "A Little Birdie Told Me" #115016 $26.95. She also wanted spring colors. I hope this fits the bill or request. We of course will put in some kind of goodie, probably nuggets or some other kind of chocolate.
I used Certainly Celery Card Stock #105125 $5.50 and Barely Banana CS #102701 $5.50. The Top Note Die was used to create the purse #113463 $21.95. I also mixed the two ribbon together to tie in the colors as I did with the two oval punches.

Honey Pot and Step by Step Directions

Good Morning Everyone,
Several of you have asked how I colored the Honey Pot from the "Just Buzzin' By" Stamp Set.
I used the Watercolor pencils and an aqua painter.
Here is a Step by Step as I did it and I placed this on my table at camp for this project to help my customers. It's just a progression of color blended together. I hope this helps.

I'm also including a card made by my Friend Lisa who changed it up up bit by putting the hive on the outside and the card I made on the inside. Very nice work and coloring...don't you agree.

Kayla's Journal and Pen

Good Morning Everyone,

I'd like to share a project I'll be doing at my Granddaughter Kayla's Birthday Party next month.

she wanted to have a Stampin' Up! Birthday Party so I will fly to Atlanta to do this for her. She's so cute and loves to stamp.

This is one of those little Composition Books I got at Target for $0.79. I covered it with Pretty In Pink and stamped the flower image from "Simply Said" on the covers. I used one of our Stick heart Cut Outs and used our (Stampin' Up!) Chunky Red Glitter to cover it with. I did use Red Glitter Stickles for the center of the flowers as I know she a definite bling girl. I made the matching pen suing a mailing label, brayering the Pretty in Pink color on it and using the tiny flower from "Simply Said" and stamping on it. It's so easy with the mailing labels are they are already sticky for you.

I just called my little Princess and asked her if she liked this and she said: " I LOVE IT". So this will be a part of her party. I'll be doing at least one more project with her and her little girlfriends. All 13 of them!!! I will be recruiting the help of my Daughter-in-law and her friend Heather. I know I'm going to need them.

Raspberry Tart Valentine Box

Good Morning Everyone,

I'd like to share a box I did yesterday and will share it with my camp attendees next Saturday. they will make the box but will have to provide they're own chocolate!! I am not sharing these wonderful Reese's Heart candies...they are all mine!! hehe

I learned how to make this box at my uplines meeting and swap at Leadership. i kind of messed that one up and decided I would re-make it when I wasn't so tired. It is adorable in person and so easy to make.

For Melinda

It is with a heavy heart I write today.

I made this card this morning for my friend Melinda. She passed away Sunday January 11th.

Have you ever had a friend that was always there, always giving, always honest, always funny, always caring and ALWAYS Melinda? She used to enjoy and critique my cards although she didn't stamp much. Sometimes she was brutally honest but most of the time right. She would come to my camps just to visit and make everyone laugh with her stories......she was a hoot!! Everyone loved her.

I made her this simple and elegant card and hope she likes it.

It's very difficult to think she's gone....I'm having a very hard time accepting it. She was only 53 and would have been 54 just yesterday.

So this ones for you Melinda....Thank You for so many laughs, great memories and especially your friendship. I'll never forget you! Love ya!!!

Sweet Sampler Faux Stained Glass

Good Morning Everyone!

I'd like to share this card I made featuring the Sweet Sampler Set by Stampin' Up!

I decided that I could use the Stained Glass technique with this set or at least this image.

The image is stamped in Versamark on White Card stock Vellum and embossed with white Embossing Powder. Flip it over and color in the spaces with markers. I then matted it onto white Card stock and matted onto Regal Rose and old Olive. I scored lies going Vertically on the left side of the card, but I'm not sure it photographed well. I added some 5/8" Grosgrain and a rhinestone brad and there you go. It's very pretty in person and probably something I'll do at a Technique Class.

I'm at Regional Seminar today with some of my downline and having a great time. I'll be back tomorrow with some great things to share.

Good Morning Everyone!

Here is a card made with our soon to be released stamp set called "Just Buzzin' By" to be released on January 19th. When I saw this set I just had to have it and knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. My granddaughter's bedroom is done with Winne the Pooh and this set so reminded me of it and the colors. I wanted to keep it simple and sweet and just concentrate on the darling images. You can't' tell from he picture but the honey post is cut out and popped up with a dimensional. It's also embossed or at least the dripping honey is coming down on the pot. I used Watercolor Pencils to achieve the look on the Honey Pot and was very happy with the result and mixing of color. I hope you like it. This is one of my swap cards and will be done at my January 24th Mini Camp and Catalog Release Party. I hope you can come.

Good Morning Everyone,

Boy it's been a long time since I've posted any stamped cards here. As you may know I have been suffering with Vertigo and still have some of it. I'm glad it's subsided some.

I will be leaving for leadership today and wanted to share one of my swaps with you using "Petal Pizazz" from Stampin' Up! It's such a cute set and so darn easy to work with. The DSP is called Raspberry Tart and is so pretty. I love pink and green together. Did you notice the little bit of Vellum on the bottom mat under the image.....it really lightens it up and makes it look delicate. I hope you enjoy it and I will be sharing more while I'm away.
