Good Morning Everyone!

I'd like to share a card I got in the mail the other day. Selene Kempton sent it to me, she is a fellow Demonstrator from Dracut, Massachusetts. She and I spoke the other day and I mentioned that my camera was on the fritz at convention and she immediately made a CD of her pictures and sent it to me with this lovely card. How awesome is that?

She has used the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set and stamped the image on Shimmer White. Can you see the hint of sparkle? It's just gorgeous in person. Little hint here, look how she made the little notch at the top of the card, it's a great way to keep your ribbon in place and add a point of interest. I hope you have enjoyed Selene's creation as much as I did. Thanks again Selene!!!

BOO!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I'd like to share this cut Halloween idea with you. It's so easy to do. Just cut your Designer Paper to 6" x 7 1/8" and place tape on one short side and two long sides. Wrap your Kit Kat Bar and then crimp the edges. Decorate as desired. I had some black Shred here that I thought looked cute on it and then I used the "Eat, Drink and be Scary" Set.....too cute. This would make a great class Halloween Treat!! Oh, don't forget our "Ghostly Greeting Designer Paper".

If you would like to order these supplies to make these special treats for your little goblins, here is the supply list:

Ghostly Goblins DS: #112463

Eat Drink and be Scary # 111764

Glittered Glass

Good Morning Everyone!
I actually started this card yesterday and forgot about the image in my freezer until this morning.
The image is done in Basic Gray using the "To You and Yours" Stamp Set. i then used Versamark all over the image and poured on the Glassy Glaze Embossing Powder from Stampin' Up!. then heat emboss it. Repeat the Versamark 2-3 more times until you get a nice smooth image. Then place in your freezer for about 10 minutes. make sure to twist and crack it immediately upon removing from freezer!!!
I thought the card needed a bit of sparkle and I wondered if Dazzling Diamonds would stick to it....well it did. So my Glittered Glass was "Born"!!
By the way, I used the Sanded background stamp and stamped with Basic Gray for the Background.
I hope you enjoy it.

Tree's,Tree's and More Tree's

Good Morning Everyone!
I am so-o-o hooked on this stamp set. I've got a few more things in mind but I'm saving those for later.
I did a little masking on this card. Stamped the three tress in the back first and masked the front two. Then stamped the tree again cut and mounted on the masked front two. Glittered and Done! This did not photograph well, it's gorgeous in person.
I hope you like it. I used Old Olive card stock and ink on this one.

Angel in Pink!

Good Morning Everyone!

Here is a card form the "Holy Triptych" set from Stampin' Up!

I decided it needed to look soft. I used Very Vanilla card stock and stamped my image on it. Colored in with my Aqua Painter and Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I then used my Scallop Edge Punch on a piece of vellum and placed it on top. I adhere it with glue dots on some of the scallops. i tied a pretty piece of our pink taffeta ribbon on it and attached a Rhinestone Brad. I then cut the slightest edge of pink to add to the right side of the card to balance it. I hope you like it. She's a beautiful Angel.

If I can help you with any of your stamping need, don't hesitate to contact me and don't forget we now have on line ordering. You can order any of these products from me here.

Peace Be With You!

I just love this little tree in the "Christmas Classics Set". It's so easy to work with. I stamped in Versamark then into Kiwi Kiss. then I used clear Embossing Powder on it. I did the "Peace" on my Big Shot and used some of our gorgeous Kiwi Kiss Ribbon. Of course I had to add some Dazzling Diamonds to the tree and Voila! The card measures 6 1/4x 3 1/4 and will fit into one of our small open end envelopes.
Oh! I did mat the image onto a piece of Kiwi Kiss to tie it together.
Thanks for visiting and hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Simplicity in White and Silver

Good Morning Everyone,
I call this "Simplicity in White and Silver" because it's just that! Simple, elegant and oh so easy to do. Not only that but it will showcase the Big Shot and just a bit of what you can do with it. I'm finding there are no scraps with the "Big Shot". The silver frame on the card on the left is what was left over after cutting the top not out on the right.
If you make lots of Christmas Cards this is the way to go. Lovely as a Tree is such a versatile set and so pleasing to the eye, you just can't lose with it, and bundled with the Top Note is just a bonus!
Both of these items are available to order on my website here. Just click on the button in the top right hand corner that says shop now and you're all set.
if you order the big shot bundle this particular die comes with it.
I hope you enjoyed my simple little cards and hope to see you back soon.

Holiday Treasures Gift Bag and Card

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to share a cute Gift Bag and Card I made. I used an ordinary white gift bag and covered it with Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red Card Stock. I then embellished it with some of our YUMMY "Holiday Treasures" Designer Paper and our 5/8" Chocolate Grosgrain.
If you'll notice I used part of our "Join in the Cheer" die from Stampin' Up!, that is where the "Cheer" came from.
I can't decide if I want to glitter the "Cheer or not.
What do you think?
I also cut the little Envelope with our new Scallop Envelope Die and made a matching card. I couldn't resist placing a tiny strip of dots on the edge of the card. Did you notice the scalloped edge on the top of the bag??? fun to use your scraps to come up with extra cute embellishments.
I hope you like it.

....and She's All That and more!

Hello Everyone!
For those of you that don't know....this is my beautiful Granddaughter Kayla! This picture was taken just before church last Sunday. She was modeling her new dress for me.
Is she not the cutest thing you've ever seen???
She's eight now and going on 25!!!
Did you catch the little modeling pose on the right with the shoulder.....Daddy better lock this one up!
I had lots of fun with Kayla on my visit....she took baby steps with me trying to teach me how to walk in the Gameboy game we were playing and said: "Okay Grandy this is how I did it to learn when I first started"!!! I had to chuckle inside.
She's also a little crafter and has her own art work station in her playroom that she draws and stamps at. We spent a good part f one afternoon stamping together. I was showing her how to outline with markers and use a paintbrush to pull the color to the center and she said: "Grandy you showed me that technique last time"!! So I had to come up with a new technique to show her. She's too funny and remembers EVERYTHING!!!
I'm so proud of how she is and her little caring ways. She is very sweet and I love her dearly! Mom and Dad have done a wonderful job with her as well.
Kayla, if you see this, I love you! I hope you are taking good care of "Emma" your new baby doll I got you.
Well I guess that's it for now.....I'll be posting some artwork tomorrow. In the meantime....I hope you enjoyed my grandchildren.

He's All That!

Good Morning Everyone!

I have not had time to stamp as I've been visiting my beautiful grandchildren in Atlanta.

I just got back Sunday night and have been busy getting settled in.

Anyway this is a picture my Grandson Chase receiving his black stripe on his Orange Belt. He was so proud and was also "Student of the Month".

It was really fun watching him do his form and sparring with the other students.

Can you tell I'm proud???? He's just the most awesome child. We spent time talking and he taught me how to play his Gameboy Games....thank goodness he has patience!!!
My son and his wife Melita have done a remarkable job of raising these children!!!!
If you see this Chase....I love you and miss you already!
That's it for now I will share my little princess later.

Bugs and Kisses

Good Morning Everyone,
This was a card that we did at a workshop last Saturday. The inspiration came from Michelle over at Stamp Land.
Anyway this was my customer Charley's rendition of it. She's a Mary Kay lady and she put smiles and eyelashes on the little caterpillars.....she also glittered the white part of the bugs. It's so cute in person.
I just had to share her creativity with you. Only Charley could make them "Pretty"!!!
Colors used were: Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron and Bashful Blue.

White Swirled

Good Morning Everyone!
I know this is so-o-o plain, but I like plain and especially in WHITE! I just can't help it sometimes.
I told you way back when, it's my favorite color (or non-color).
This card has three (3) layers. The fold-over card part, a mat that is a bit distressed, and the mat that is stamped with the tree. I crimped the edges on the stamped piece by crimping on all sides three times. I love how that adds texture to a card.
I stamped the image with Certainly Celery Craft Ink and then applied heat and Stick powder and heat a bit...then added our Fine Cosmos Glitter (green) and tapped off the excess and heat again to set. It's really much prettier in person. Anyway I appreciate you stopping by and hope you're having a fabulous weekend.

Merry Christmas....Merry christmas....Merry Christmas....

Good Morning Everyone!
I really love this "Christmas Classics" Stamp set. It is so-o-o easy to work with.
Seems like your cards just pull together.
This is a round card....(I don't do those often) that I thought the Merry Christmas saying would look cute stamped around the circle. I guess it's not real visible int he picture, but it's there.
i then embossed two trees on the insert circle and another on a piece of white scrap cs and cut it out. I then mounted the middle tree over the the two in the circle. Everything was stamped in Versamark and old embossed. I colored in the trees with a Handsome Hunter Marker and then used a 2-way glue pen to adhere my Dazzling Diamonds.
Oh, I forgot to mention I used the " Coluzzle" to cut the circle card and the insert.
If you would like to order any (or all) of the products used to create this, don't hesitate to let me know....here
Hope you enjoy it!
