Baby Bag and Punches Three Card

Good Morning Everyone!
I was in a real time crunch the other day when I posted my Baby Card made with the "Punches Three" Set. I was preparing dinner for the new family and realized I hadn't made any packaging for the baby gift.
I had these little white bags on hand and tried to figure out what to do with it to match the gift and card.
Well, in my desperation for time I kept is simple and used my 1/2 circle punch. I punched a bunch of dots and adhered them with mini glue dots randomly on the bag. Then I took a piece of our new 1 1/4" Pink Grosgrain and taped it around the bag. I then tied a bow on the handle.
I think it came out pretty cute for a 5 minute project. Gotta say they thought the bag was adorable. How about you?
thanks for all the wonderful comments you all have been leaving. I so appreciate you taking the time to visit and see my work.
Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Inspired from....

It's funny where you might get inspiration or in this case an idea you have to case in the wee hours of the morning. I had been looking over this Christmas Card Catalog I got in the mail and saw the card on the left. I decided I would try and duplicate it to some extent.
I just couldn't bear the thought of all those tiny squares...so I cheated a bit and made a stripped package. ....
I stamped snowflakes on the Riding Hood Red and gold papers. I did emboss the gold with gold EP!
I showed this card to my girls at my camp last week and they are convinced I'm nuts now! they said only you would copy from a magazine in the middle of the night!
Hey, what's a girl to do when you can't sleep?
Have a wonderful and SAFE Holiday Weekend!

Can you find the "Baby Card"?

Good Morning Everyone!
Isn't this the sweetest little outfit? I couldn't resist making a card to match it. My dear friend Judy's daughter Michele just had her 4th baby on Monday and this is for little Rachel.
This is just the top of the outfit , it does have a little pair of pull on pants too with little feet and bows....love it.

I used the new hostess set from Stampin' Up! called "Punches Three". It was so easy to use and the results I think are darling. I love the new large oval punch, talk about making this an easy-peasy card! Our "Polka Dot" Background matched the polka dots on the outfit perfectly. Isn't it exciting when things just fall together like that?

If you would like to earn this Level one Hostess Set, I can help you do that. Either by hosing a party at your place (or mine) or having a Catalog Party. Just let me know if I can help you out there.

Christmas Classics Ornaments

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. I'm still having fun with this "Christmas Classics Set by Stampin' Up! it is so easy to use and full of potential. You might want to hop on the bandwagon and get this set....talk about making quick cards! This one has all the shading there for you whether you use ink or emboss it.....it's all good. I embossed this with gold and went back in with a red marker to color the open areas on the ornaments. I love how they look in person. The picture doesn't quite capture the beauty of it. This card measures 6 1/4x 4 1/2 which is bigger that the average card, but I needed the bigger size to accommodate the three ornaments. I think it's lovely with our new sayings as well...."Heard From the Heart".....another versatile set from Stampin' Up!.
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs don't hesitate to ask.

Good Morning Everyone!
Here is another stamp from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set. I just love this Stamp Set....I see many possibilities with it.
I used Real Red and Brushed Gold Card Stock along with Whisper White to stamp my image on.
i did a little crosshatch on the mat in the background and went over the grooves with a marker for a little more definition.
"Jingle all the Way is colored with markers directly on the stamp and stamped......then I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig and stamped the bell on there with versamark applied from a Versamarker. I then heat embossed the bell with Gold EP.
I thought it turned out pretty cute.
I have the ornament coming tomorrow, you won't want to miss it.
Thanks for stopping in and have a..............

Elegant Christmas Classics!

Good Morning Everyone!
I got my new Stamp Sets in the mail this past Friday and got to play a bit.
Here is a simple but elegant card I made with the tree from "Christmas Classics". This is such a fun set to work with. It's one of those sets you can dress up or down.....fun, fun, fun!
On this card I used:
CS: Whisper White, Brushed Gold
Ink: Versamark
Access: 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds and Gold Embossing Powder.

I also did some cross-hatch dry embossing on the white background. This little touch adds to the elegance of the card, especially with a dab of diamonds at each cross hatch. (Thanks Sharon for teaching me this technique).
I hope you enjoyed this card today.....it will be one I offer in a Kit soon.
Stay tuned........and have a.........

I had some scraps of paper sitting on my desk and started playing. This is what I've come up with. It's a bit of "Paper Blocking". I think it needs something, just not sure what.

Storm Watch and Lovely as a Tree in Red and Gold

Good Morning Everyone!
Well so far we have weathered the storm fairly well. We have four Palm Trees by the Pool that are leaning and uprooted. We're hoping that they can be anchored down and saved once the wind passes. This was even after my husband tied them down and anchored them. It's not that the winds were Hurricane force but it was a consistent force and still is. I'm hoping for a break in the weather soon. I have a workshop tonight and am not sure if it will take place or not. I have a camp tomorrow and don't know if it will happen either. The good thing is that we are safe and have power! They're are almost 80,000 people here in Jacksonville, Florida with no power so I feel extremely blessed.
On to my card......
don't you love the "Lovely as a Tree" Stamp Set? You can virtually do anything with it. I think I have used mine so much that the rubber is wearing! Is that possible? This is a must have set for anybody that enjoys rubber stamping or anyone that wants to learn. It's so easy and versatile.
I decided to do a red card today and used gold to jazz it up a bit. All I've done was stamp the image in Gold Encore and add some Gold EP to it and heat. I like the idea of multi-layers to bring in some more gold. I then stamped "Noel" from the "Many Merry Messages" Stamp Set and embossed that as well.
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by and have a..........
Stampinglee Good Day!

Merry and Bright Gift Card Holder

Good Morning Everyone,

Here's a cute little Gift Card Holder I'm thinking of doing at one of my Christmas Camps. I'm so in love with the new "Bella Rose Designer Paper", there is no limit to what you can do with it.

I've used the Riding hood Red Card Stock for the base of the Gift Card Holder and Pink Pirouette for the Scallop Punch. I used the Merry and Bright Stamp Set.
I've also attached a picture of it open. The Gift Card will sit in the center of the card in the slots.
I hope you enjoy this little Snowman from Merry and Bright!
Have a Stampinglee God Day!

Pretty Bella Invite or Note Card

Good Morning Everyone!
I love playing with all my new TOYS!!! This was so simple and yet so Elegant in person.
This Invite measures 3 7/8" x 9 1/4"
The outside of the invite uses the very pretty and soft Bella Designer Series Paper.
The inside is just white card stock. I added some our our gorgeous taffeta ribbon to tie it closed and added just a touch of scallop edging to the top and the bottom. The white card slides in and out of the floral jacket. I then got my brand new "Big Shot" out and die cut the bird and adhered him with dimensionals. I love that the little wing goes on separately for added interest and dimension. I will offer this for a class or camp. It can be used as an invite, personal note or even a Birthday Card.
I'll bet it would have been gorgeous with the new wide pink ribbon too! I'm still waiting on that to be delivered.
I hope you enjoy the new Bella Rose Designer Paper....it's to die for!
Have a Stampinglee Great Day!

Good Morning Everyone!
"Sock Monkey is in the House"! Isn't he the cutest? I'm not sure I liked him at first but I'm getting attached. I did have one of these as a child that my Grandmother made for me so it's kind of brings back some memories.
I cannot take credit for the design....this was a swap I received at Leadership. this card is a reproduction of it. The original artist was Stephanie Ferrara. thanks Stephanie!
On my card I mottled the coloring on the sock Monkey some by using my aqua painter in swirling motions to get the effect I wanted.

Ink Brown Stazon and Pink Pirouette ink refill
Stamps sets: Sock Monkey. Polka Dot Background and Heard from the Heart
Access: DD, 2-Way Glue Pen, Watercolor Crayons, Aqua Painter and Scallop Edge Punch.

Eastern Bloom Case

Good Morning Everyone!
I must admit......
This idea came from here. The main idea was from Sherri. I just made a few subtle changes.
I did a bit of faux stitching around the flowers and used the new "Scallop Edge" Punch from Stampin' Up! and added a few dots.
I've used the new in-color Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Vanilla.
This is one of the sets we got at convention and I'm having fun playing with it. I hope you enjoy it too!
If you're in my area and want to make this card let me know. I'll be doing it at one of my camps. You can check out my schedule of events on my Stampin'; Up! website here. I'd love to see you there.

Brrrrrrrrr!!! Lovely Wintery Day

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is a very special day for me......it's my husband's and mine Wedding Anniversary. We have been married for 39 years!!! I can hardly believe it. I am so lucky to have him in my life....he's everything to me!
Now on to my share......
Here is another Christmas Card for you done with Stampin' Up!s fabulous "Lovely as a Tree" Stamp Set. I have to say that not a Christmas has gone by in the last 6-7 years that I haven't used this set. It's a must have!
Those of you that know me know I love whites and creams. I just love the clean look on cards and other things. Believe it or not all my clothes used to be white or cream....that was it! A dear friend of mine told me how boring I was so I had to add some color to my wardrobe (thanks Ann).
But........I am reverting to my old ways with this card.
I used Very Vanilla for the card and insert. I stamped the trees in Handsome Hunter. I then used the "Dryer Sheet" Technique. It's where you stamp your image and then spray with spray adhesive and lay a USED dryer sheet from your laundry over the spray adhesive. Then quickly sprinkle on some Dazzling Diamonds. Tap down to adhere. The DD work they're way into the fibers of the sheet. They don't even rub off! When dry (just a minute or so) trim and work it into your card. I love this technique and have used it before....this Technique is just too good not to bring back. I hope you enjoy it!
I got this die cut card from my friend Melinda who is going into her own business of selling Die-Cut Cards. She plans on using all Stampin' Up! paper so will have all the colors. If you'd like to contact her you can reach her by email: here. I think this just may save me lots of cutting time and allow me to do more, you may want to order some yourself.
Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Season of Joy

Good Morning Everyone!
Well it's been a long hard week here. I've been sick since I came home from convention and am finally starting to feel human again.
In addition to that, my computer crashed, got that fixed only to find my monitor was shot too! If that wasn't enough I spent days trying to get internet restored!!! It's been a tecnology nightmare. The good news is everything is up and running now.
Here is a card I made yesterday using the "Season of Joy" set from Stampin' Up!
This card measure 5x5 and is much prettier and softer IRL. I embossed the saying with white EP and stamped the snowflake on white in Bashful Blue and glittered it a bit...so it does have a bit of sparkle.
In fact my husband came home from work last night and said: "you're feeling better, aren't you?" I said I was and he did his cute little chuckle and said you have glitter all over your face. I guess he was worried when I didn't have glitter all over my face.....funny the things they notice that you wouldn't think they would notice. Gotta' love em'!
I also added my debossed area for my blue mat to sit in. I do this by taping two sheets of card stock together in the desired size and using that as my template on my light table. Then I use my stylus to dry emboss.
I think I will use this card for my first Christmas Camp next month. I hope everyone likes it.
Have a Stampinglee good day everyone!

Congratulation's

This is a picture of my upline Wendy Randall and my Downline Sharon Field (center), and myself.
This picture was taken shortly after Sharon was given the "Statement of the Heart" Award from Stampin' Up!
I nominated Sharon along with a few of my downline for this prestigious award and was thrilled when she won it. She so deserves it and I couldn't be prouder of her work with different groups.
Stampin' Up! called me about a week before convention to tell me she had won the award. I cried like a baby!
then they told me to keep it a secret....oh boy, that was tough! Especially since we traveled to convention together and roomed together. I had to sneak around to meet with Stampin' Up! Staff and excuse my self about 1/2 hour before her award to head back stage. i told her I had a tummy ache and would be back, which wasn't far from the truth. I was asked to read my letter (thankfully behind the scenes) and then go out on stage with Shelli to welcome Sharon. It was such an awesome experience.

From what I understand she was going to go and check on me when I had a friend insist she remain there. PHEW!!! I would have hated if she missed her special award!

Anyway Congratulations again to my Downline and friend Sharon Field.
Please feel free to visit her blog here . She is a tremendous talent as well as a great Humanitarian.
have a Stampinglee Good Day Everyone!

Thank You Sheilah!

This is my wonderful friend "Sheilah Neff" from California. I'm on the left and she's on the right. This picture was taken in front of the "Salt Palace Convention Center" in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This was my first convention and Sheilah took me and my downline Sharon under her wing and showed us the ropes. She made our first convention a memorable one! What can I say....she's BEAUTIFUL inside and out and has the most wonderful caring way.
So thank you Sheilah for being there for us but for especially being a part of my life.

I've got to start unpacking now (don't know where to start) so I can review all that happened at convention.
I'll be back with more convention news later.

Have a Stampinglee good day everyone!
